Michael brings a strong combination of site management, quantity surveying, and construction experience to RECO Construction. He holds a Master of Construction in Quantity Surveying from Massey University and a Bachelor of Construction in Quantity Surveying from Otago Polytechnic.
With extensive experience across residential construction in New Zealand, Michael has developed a well-rounded understanding of both the commercial and practical aspects of construction. His experience includes site coordination, subcontractor management, quality control, health and safety, construction planning, cost control, variations, and stakeholder coordination.
Having started his career in carpentry and progressed through site management and quantity surveying roles, Michael has a strong practical understanding of construction processes from the ground up. He is proactive in identifying potential issues, finding practical solutions, and maintaining clear communication between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
Michael is committed to delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently, while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring projects are completed to the required standards and programme.
