After obtaining a degree in Quantity Surveying at university, Ryder has enjoyed a successful career as a Quantity Surveyor. His experience includes working on a wide range of projects in the past few years, from residential to retail to commercial and civil/subdivisions.

Ryder’s experience of supervising and leading RECO’s QS team has led him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, and has also led to his role as General Manager. He is passionate about accurate estimating and about maintaining good, long-term relationships with clients and subcontractors. Presently, Ryder oversees all operations with an engaging and inclusive leadership style.

Over the 20-year working experience, Zachary has gained extensive skills and knowledge in construction and infrastructure industries. After joining in RECO construction, he as a team lead has involved in many residential projects. Through these projects he got an in-depth understanding of New Zealand construction site operations.

Zachary provides the team with strong organisational abilities, and communication skills to deliver projects successfully from start to finish. He is a chartered constructor and consulting engineer in China. Back in China, he had led numerous large-scaled projects, and worked on various roles, ranging from planner, estimator, project manager to construction manager, both as contractor as well as developer side. This extensive experience allows him to gain full understanding of all facets of the business.

Bill has comprehensive knowledge in building technology, building codes, and regulations.

He aims to build a astonishing house for the client.

At RECO, Bill is currently working for a muti-storey terraced house development.

In the past, Bill has gained eight years of experience in New Zealand Building inductury where he was started as a builder. And now he would use what he know to make contribution to the group.

Will demonstrates a strong understanding and ability to manage medium- hign density residential and light commercial construction projects.

He studied Master of Landscape Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture in Germany and New Zealand. He transformed successfully to working in the industry of construction management. These design and construction experiences, giving him incredible insight into every aspect of an architect’s job. Will specializes in communicating with internal resources and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and with great quality.

Will is committed to integrating new methodologies and technologies, such as digital visualization, and believes that these will make a positive impact on his construction progress.

Jay graduated from Massey University with a Postgraduate Degree in Construction Project Management. This experience set him on a path to becoming a building professional with an indepth understanding and experience of large-scale residential terrace house building. His responsibilities involve coordination between suppliers and contractors on-site, working closely with building professionals and council specialists, and providing progress report to our back office personnel and our customers.

Jay is a result-oriented and detail-focused individual, always enthusiastic and always passionate about growing his skills and experience. When not in work mode, he has a passion in sports, and likes playing basketball, skateboarding and staying in gym.

Luka has a six-year academic background in engineering management. His extensive professional knowledge and skillset enable him to organise and manage projects quickly and efficiently. He is also adept at managing time, and using his academic skills to deal with emergencies flexibly. In addition, Luke’s good communication skills and attitude enable him to maintain good relationships with, and earn the respect of, different subcontractors. With more experience under his belt with RECO, Luka plans to become an essential member of our team.

Walden has lived and worked in New Zealand for more than fifteen years and has completed his university degree in marketing, information analysis, and Quantity surveyor. Living from Wellington to Auckland has given me an insight into the local culture, including some of the customs of the Maori tribe. Walden has extremely passion in building high quality homes for Aotearoa, New Zealand. Walden is good at communication and solving problems according to the site situation. Walden have participated in some commercial decoration projects, and I have a good plan for time management and construction period. Walden is willing to share and contribute in team, and complete every project with a professional and accurate working attitude. Walden hopes to achieve excellence through continuous learning and accumulation of engineering technology. When I first came to RECO, I participated in the project of 19 terraces, which filled me with a sense of achievement.

Gloria is a site manager at RECO. She is an energetic and self-motivate in work, and a cheerful enthusiastic person in life. After studying Road, bridge, and river crossing engineering in China, she came to New Zealand to further study construction management and traffic courses in Canterbury university.

She is willing to create an effective communication between personnel, all subcontractors and the management team. Diligent who consistently monitors site works to ensure proper compliance with building and safety codes.

She is open-minded, self-confident and can work in high-pressure. Also, she has a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility, and with excellent team spirit.

Leo Li joined RECO construction in 2021. As a sprinter, he has the ability to fight hard and is not afraid of hards work, which gives him the ability to complete work in a high pressure construction environment. As an Assistant Site Manager, Leo has a strong sense of teamwork, combined with effective communication skills that enable him to organise and coordinate work. He really enjoys solving problems and the sense of achievement that comes with that.

Liran joined RECO’s site management team in 2022. Prior to that he has worked as a Quantity Surveyor and Carpenter in Auckland, and gained two years of quantity surveying experience in a consultant company in China, delivering high quality building projects. Liran has completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Quantity Surveying in England and New Zealand.

His solid QS background enables Liran to provide comprehensive insight into site management. He believes that the keys to delivering a project are not only having extensive building knowledge, but also information sharing and collaborative teamwork, because the completion of a successful building is always a joint effort.

Billy is a site manager in Reco, he has 5 years of construction experience mainly focusing on residential single and terraced housing.

From various backgrounds from Hospitality to real estate and construction in NZ has given Billy the ability to pay attention to details, Well communications with subcontractors and also on hands work.

Outside work time he normally plays basketball, cycling or Vikings.

His motto is "treat others how you want to be treated".

Zhaoyu was appointed site manager of RECO team in 2022, he has one year of foundation construction experience and one year of site manager experience. In addition, Zhaoyu completed three years Quantity Surveyor degree in New Zealand.

Prior to coming to New Zealand, Zhaoyu had more than a decade of experience in China, focusing on the construction industry. Years of work experience has made him better at on-site communication, and has applied his experience and expertise to on-site management.

His motto is to deliver projects as quickly as possible under the premise of ensuring quality

As a passionate member in Reco team, Dawn is familiar with the New Zealand construction industry, and keep working on monitoring and controlling cost during construction project processing. She is detail-oriented and patient, always keep efficient and friendly communication with both clients and sub-contractors.

Dawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from the Massey University. She had three years local working experience for both on-site and off-site quantity surveying works, especially on local terrace-house building field.

Jove has both overseas and domestic degrees in quantity surveying and years related working experience locally on residential projects from site preparation to CCC approval. Not only is he focused on participating house construction, but also subdivision, which, he thinks, would be more helpful for the client going through whole construction period.

After going through small projects to nowadays medium size projects with apartments, he has established the well-understanding/practice on procurement, budget control, contract drafting, communication to both the developer and contractors.

As a graduated member in Reco team, Fei has a good positive learning attitude and understanding of Quantity surveying knowledge. She graduated from Otago Polytechnic, Quantity Surveying major and completed the bachelor’s degree of construction studies. In the quantity surveying field, she is practical, academic, and detail-focused, communication skill that will enable her to grow up fast and achieve as professional in construction industry.

Angela joined RECO Construction in 2022 after graduating from Unitec with a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, which ensured she had a solid knowledge of New Zealand construction. Being responsible to clients, being fair to sub-contractors, being productive to all team members and controlling costs are Angela’s goals an excellent QS in her daily work.

Angela became passionate about quantity surveying when she worked in accountancy and financial administration roles in the construction industry. She has also worked for one of global top 500 companies in China, which prepared her to work as supportive team player with effective communication skills.

Tom is a registered architect in New Zealand, with 25 years of experience in architectural design. His experience includes 10 years of designing large-scale projects overseas and nearly 15 years of design experience in New Zealand.

Tom has a comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of architectural design, and his years of accumulated experience have provided significant technical assistance to RECO. With Tom's expertise, the entire team can prioritize efficiency while maintaining a leading position in the industry in terms of quality and compliance.
